Island Supply was incorporated
in the Cayman Islands in 1985 and became part of Jacques
Scott Group in 1999. In the early days the company shipped
consolidated containers of food and foodservice items
directly to hotel customers, such as the Holiday Inn.
Warehouse facilities, delivery vehicles
and sales representatives from within the industry brought
expansion and the company has grown over the years to
become a leader in the supply of a wide range of equipment,
food and foodservice products to a variety of businesses
in the Islands.
As specialists in restaurant and kitchen
equipment supply Island Supply has been responsible
for designing and supplying many of the commercial kitchens
that were renovated or replaced following Hurricane
Ivan in 2004. The company also supplies disposable products
and janitorial supplies and is committed to “going
green”.
Island Supply’s modern offices
are centrally located in George Town with adjoining
warehouse, freezer, chiller and showroom facilities.
Its customers are primarily the hotel, restaurant and
bar trade but the public are welcome to take advantage
of its wholesale services such as frozen food, smallwares
and foodservice essentials.
