Dan, originally from Edmonton, Canada, is passionate about food in general, whether it’s sourcing it, suppling it or preparing it. Dan has been in Cayman for 27 years, when Dan first arrived, he was employed at Hooks, where he says he did ‘everything’ from manager to chef. These days Dan saves the cooking and baking for his three children. We eat a family meal most nights and everyone chips in, it’s getting easier than when they were younger. Dan enjoys helping people run successful businesses, whether it’s sourcing equipment or food. The industry is ever changing and never a dull moment, it’s great the day flies by, sometimes you come up for air and the day is done. The job is good but it’s the people that I work alongside and meet that really make it great.
